Azure Infrastructure Cloud Engineer
Location: Central London (max once a week in the office)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Per Annum

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud environments, and enterprise security . You will maintain, secure, and enhance technology systems, proactively monitor infrastructure, and deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
Essential Skills & ExperienceMicrosoft on-prem and cloud stack: AD/AzureAD, Server/Client OS, Exchange Hybrid, M365, Intune
Microsoft Azure cloud services: Networking, RBAC/IAM, Storage
Microsoft Security stack: Defender, Security & Compliance, Purview
Virtualisation: VMware (NSX/vSAN desirable)
Networking: LAN/WLAN, WAN/MPLS, Firewalls/VPN
Storage: physical SAN and software-defined
Monitoring & management: PRTG, SCCM, Intune
Backup, restore, and business continuity processes
Securing and hardening infrastructure platforms
Exposure to SIEM/XDR/MDR systems
Experience:
Implementing and supporting enterprise infrastructure solutions
Securing servers, PCs, laptops, tablets, and hybrid cloud environments
Documenting technical implementations and transitioning to support teams
IT Operations/Service Management, ITIL knowledge
Azure-based infrastructure deployments
Project delivery within Agile, Prince2, or Waterfall frameworks
Desirable:
Microsoft Certifications
Vulnerability scanning, Open Source security methodologies
Teams telephony, Cisco/Meraki networking, Veeam Backup
POS systems, SAN storage, Defender stack, Cloudflare, Cisco ASA/Firepower/ISE, FortiGate
Support, monitor, and maintain Azure and on-premises infrastructure
Perform routine maintenance, backups, and support tasks
Respond to incidents and service requests, escalating when needed
Enforce security policies and support proactive monitoring
Liaise with suppliers and external support providers
Maintain documentation, knowledgebase, and change management records
Collaborate with the technology team on projects and support tasks
