Commercial Manager - Government Procurement - London (Hybrid) - SC Clearance

I have an immediate contract role for a major government department to join their busy Commercial and Procurement team.

Due to the urgency and nature of the role, candidates who are British nationals and hold active SC clearance would be preferred.

You'll have the opportunity to guide a re-procurement exercise for their Learning & Development categories, making a tangible impact within government departments.

The role focuses on managing the end-to-end procurement life cycle, ensuring effective delivery and best value. You'll be expected to use your experience with procurement regulations such as PA23 and eSourcing platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the re-procurement process for Learning & Development categories.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across departments.
• Use your expertise in procurement to achieve value for money.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and policies.
• Manage contracts and supplier performance effectively.

About you:

• Proven experience in the full procurement life cycle, ideally in government departments.
• Strong knowledge of PA23
• Experience with eSourcing platforms would be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Flexibility to work on-site three days per week.
