Java Developer

Java Developer - Government - SC Clearance - fully remote

I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to work on ongoing programmes for a central government client.

Due to urgency and nature of the work, ideal candidates will hold active SC clearance.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Strong experience with Java, including Core Java and Java SE/EE.
• Experience of working in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience of containerisation tools such as Docker or Kubernetes would be preferred
• Background using Spring Framework, such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Spring Data.
• Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices-style systems.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Practical knowledge of Git or similar version control tools.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented principles and common design patterns.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Good analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem solving.
