Oracle/SQL Database AdministratorLocation: Manchester/Barrow - Hybrid 80% office & 20% homeDuration: 3 months contract (24/08/2026 to 20/11/2026)Rate: £470 per day inside IR35To be considered you must have active SC Clearance and be a a sole UK nationalRole Description:DBA required to support Oracle and SQL Server databases within the Dragonfly secure environment, ensuring performance, availability, and stability of BAU services.Key Responsibilities:Monitor, maintain, and tune Oracle & SQL Server databasesManage incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisPerform backups, restores, patching, and upgradesSupport HA/DR (e.g. AlwaysOn, Data Guard/RAC)Ensure security and compliance in a secure environmentKey Skills:Strong Oracle and/or SQL Server DBA experiencePerformance tuning and troubleshooting expertiseBackup/restore and HA/DR knowledgeITIL / managed service experience preferredIf you're an experienced SC-cleared Oracle/SQL Database Administrator with strong Oracle and SQL Server database experience in a highly regulated public-sector environment we encourage you to apply.TPBN1_UKTJ
