Technical Account Manager
Account Manager - Remote (Occasional visits to Southampton office)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a customer-focused Account Manager to join a leading software provider, helping businesses across the UK get the most out of their ERP systems. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for building strong, long-term client relationships and a knack for spotting growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of business customers
Conduct regular account reviews and strategic meetings with clients
Identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services or solutions
Present tailored proposals and support customers in adopting new products and features
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure clients receive excellent service
Maintain accurate records, reports, and performance tracking via internal systems
Lead annual service level reviews and support marketing initiatives (eg, campaigns or case studies)
Deliver on KPIs related to revenue, customer satisfaction, and engagement
What You'll Bring
At least 2 years of experience in account management, customer success, or B2B sales
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, systematic approach and an eye for opportunity
Confidence in delivering business reviews and handling commercial conversations
A clean UK driving licence (for occasional client visits)
Familiarity with ERP/accounting software is a strong advantage
Preferred Qualifications
A diploma in business, sales, marketing, or accounting
Previous experience with ERP platforms (particularly iQ or similar)
Strong commercial acumen and a track record of meeting targets
Understanding of software licensing, renewals, or SaaS-based customer models
