Account Manager - Remote (Occasional visits to Southampton office)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a customer-focused Account Manager to join a leading software provider, helping businesses across the UK get the most out of their ERP systems. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for building strong, long-term client relationships and a knack for spotting growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of business customers

  • Conduct regular account reviews and strategic meetings with clients

  • Identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services or solutions

  • Present tailored proposals and support customers in adopting new products and features

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure clients receive excellent service

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and performance tracking via internal systems

  • Lead annual service level reviews and support marketing initiatives (eg, campaigns or case studies)

  • Deliver on KPIs related to revenue, customer satisfaction, and engagement

What You'll Bring

  • At least 2 years of experience in account management, customer success, or B2B sales

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders

  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

  • A proactive, systematic approach and an eye for opportunity

  • Confidence in delivering business reviews and handling commercial conversations

  • A clean UK driving licence (for occasional client visits)

  • Familiarity with ERP/accounting software is a strong advantage

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma in business, sales, marketing, or accounting

  • Previous experience with ERP platforms (particularly iQ or similar)

  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of meeting targets

  • Understanding of software licensing, renewals, or SaaS-based customer models
