Senior IT Sales Executive

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Senior IT Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and managing high-value accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a number of years of senior sales experience within IT and a passion for business development, account management and developing relationships with new and existing clients.

Established in 2002, Rapidsource IT is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of tablets, notebooks and desktop spare parts. We specialise in sourcing and globally supplying an extensive range across all technology brands.

The successful candidate will be someone with a strong work-ethic, attention to detail and a willingness to pick up the phone. To successfully work at Rapidsource, you need to be adaptable, flexible and have a passion for technology with proven ability in IT and Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable IT hardware solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Work closely with pre-sales engineers and procurement teams to deliver compelling proposals and quotes.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including pipeline management and forecasting.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience within the IT hardware or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interest in IT hardware products and developing business and sales within this industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office.

Experience

  • Experience in IT hardware sales.
  • Experience in using CRMs
  • Experience selling to sectors such as finance, education, healthcare, or the public sector.
  • Ability to pick up the phone and talk to people
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to work

The role is Monday to Friday at our warehouse and offices in Harlow. We work 8am - 5pm and offer competitive salaries and commission based bonus from day 1.
