A private equity–backed, highly successful international B2B technology business is seeking a Sales Director to lead revenue growth across the Scandinavian region. The Role

The Sales Director will have full ownership of the Scandinavian territory, responsible for establishing market presence, generating pipeline, and closing new business while laying the foundations for long-term regional growth. This is a hands-on, quota-carrying role, ideal for a commercially driven sales leader who thrives in building markets from an early stage.

You will work closely with senior leadership and internal teams to shape regional go-to-market strategy and drive sustainable, scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the Scandinavian market from the ground up, driving new logo acquisition through proactive prospecting and consultative sales
  • Own and manage the full end-to-end sales cycle, engaging senior decision-makers
  • Develop strategic relationships with early clients and expand accounts over time
  • Create and execute regional territory plans aligned to ambitious growth targets
  • Deliver compelling, executive-level presentations and business cases
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting via CRM tools
  • Represent the business at key regional events and customer meetings
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support long-term market expansion

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in B2B sales roles
  • Experience launching or scaling new territories or markets
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a greenfield environment
  • Consultative seller with strong executive presence
  • Background in technology, SaaS, or data-led solutions preferred
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial, and commercially astute

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in quota-carrying B2B sales
  • Demonstrated success in new business development and account growth
  • Fluency in Swedish and English (essential)
  • Experience using CRM and modern sales tools
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required
