About the company

Our client is a fast growing mission led consumer technology business using digital products to create positive real-world impact.

Design plays a central role in how the product looks, feels, and connects with customers, and the team is now looking for a Product Designer to help elevate both product experience and visual craft as the platform continues to evolve.

The role

As a Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the end-to-end user experience across the company’s B2C platform (web and mobile). You’ll translate product roadmap initiatives into high-quality, intuitive, and visually compelling designs, balancing strong UX fundamentals with excellent UI craft.

This role is particularly well suited to a designer who enjoys brand-led product work, visual storytelling, and elevating the overall look and feel of a digital product , while still being grounded in product thinking and user needs.

You’ll join a small design team (currently 3 strong), giving you genuine ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to influence both product and brand direction.

Key responsibilities

  • Translate product initiatives into thoughtful, high-quality UX and UI designs
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define user needs and requirements
  • Design premium, polished interfaces aligned with brand guidelines
  • Contribute to brand-focused initiatives, lifestyle imagery, and visual storytelling
  • Work closely with developers to ensure accurate and high-quality design implementation
  • Advocate for user-centred design principles across the business
  • Use insight and data to inform design decisions and iteration
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and learning-focused design culture

What they’re looking for

  • Experience designing B2C digital products (web and/or mobile), ideally within ecommerce or subscription-based environments
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process, decision-making, and outcomes
  • Excellent UI craft and visual design standards
  • Branding and/or graphic design experience, applied within product environments
  • A good balance of UX thinking and UI execution
  • Confidence articulating design rationale and storytelling to stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Figma
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a desire to learn and grow

What’s on offer

  • Base salary up to ÂŁ70,000 (depending on experience)
  • Company shares, giving you a stake in the business
  • 25 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays
  • Office closure between Christmas and New Year
  • Private medical, dental, critical illness, and life assurance cover
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave
  • Dedicated learning and development budget
  • Free, on-demand access to GP, mental health, and personal training support

Why apply?

This is an opportunity to join a purpose-led business where design is valued, impact matters, and you’ll have real influence over both product experience and brand expression. You’ll work alongside supportive senior designers and product leaders, with space to grow your skills while contributing meaningfully from day one.
