System Configuration Support
Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Systems Configuration Support Specialist to join our team & play a key role in supporting the ongoing development of digital healthcare across Hereford & Worcester.
Working across our EPR systems and wider digital clinical applications, you will act as a key point of contact for complex configuration queries and issues, investigating problems escalated through the Service Desk and application support teams, resolving them directly or working with suppliers where required.
Working closely with training, information & performance teams, you will help ensure our systems continue to meet the needs of clinicians, services & the wider Trust.
You will contribute to system enhancements, upgrades, releases & optimisation activities that directly support frontline services & improve patient care.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a mixture of onsite & remote working.
Please note the Trust is unable to provide sponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to work in the UK status. Employment on a time limited visa doesnt guarantee sponsorship at point of expiry.
Main duties of the job
You will design, build, test & implement configuration changes across a range of digital clinical systems, ensuring solutions meet both clinical & operational requirements.
Working with clinicians, service leads & digital teams, you will analyse requirements, understand complex workflows & translate service needs into effective digital solutions that support patient care.
You will investigate complex configuration queries & issues, working with suppliers where required, & contribute to system upgrades, releases and optimisation activities.
The role includes maintaining configuration documentation, supporting digital projects & programmes, identifying opportunities for improvement, enhancing system usability, improving data quality, contributing to the resolution of recurring system issues & helping improve how the Trust's digital clinical systems support services.

You will be able to communicate effectively with both technical & non-technical audiences, working with clinicians & services to understand requirements & develop robust solutions that support patient care.

Person Specification
Experience
- High-level experience of working in NHS or a healthcare company on healthcare systems.
- Experience of working with SYSTEM applications and modules.
- Significant experience of SYSTEM configuration and database administration.
- Experience of working in fast-changing technology environment, with demonstrable experience of adapting to change and learning new technologies quickly.

Qualifications
- Educated to post graduate diploma level or equivalent or able to demonstrate substantial experience of performing to an equivalent level in a relevant environment.
