The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join a dynamic and commercially focused legal team based in London. This senior position will support business operations across the UK and Europe, providing strategic legal guidance on complex commercial transactions, infrastructure projects and regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will be a pragmatic and solutions-oriented lawyer with strong experience negotiating sophisticated technology, telecommunications, infrastructure or commercial agreements. This role offers significant exposure to business-critical projects and senior stakeholders within a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate complex customer agreements relating to connectivity, technology, telecommunications and infrastructure services.
  • Support strategic infrastructure deployment projects, including real estate, construction, engineering and network build arrangements.
  • Negotiate supplier and procurement agreements covering technology, software, hardware and network services.
  • Advise stakeholders on contractual risk, dispute management and commercial strategy.
  • Manage and coordinate external legal advisers across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support corporate transactions, strategic initiatives and wider business projects.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, contract templates and risk management frameworks.
  • Provide support on regulatory and compliance matters across European markets.
  • Mentor junior legal team members and assist with legal project management activities.

About You

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 6–8 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Background gained within a leading law firm and/or a sophisticated in-house legal environment.
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts with multinational customers and strategic suppliers.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, construction, technology or network deployment projects.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance legal risk against business objectives.
  • Confident managing complex matters independently and leading negotiations on high-value transactions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
