Senior Account Manager
Responsibilities In this position, you will be responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory for the Utilities and Communications (U&C) product line (HxGN Networks Portfolio). The HxGN NetWorks portfolio is a flexible and integration-ready geospatial asset management solution that provides a single source of accurate, up-to-date information and a full spectrum of tools for different users across the business. HxGN NetWorks is used by customers across the world to design, build, manage and maintain physical networks, including electric, gas, water, wastewater, multi-utility and fibre. Work closely with current and prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create appropriate solutions to meet their business requirements. The role is a great opportunity for someone Senior and experienced mainly in managing & nurturing a number of large named accounts. When the opportunity arises, travel to the customer site is required. - Responsible for managing and nurturing existing accounts in the assigned territory to identify cross and upsell opportunities.
- Making sure all customers are being taken care off. Represents Hexagon with integrity and professionalism, acting as an agent of the company.
- Understand customer's business outcomes, objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes to ensure we offer the most effective package of solutions, maximizing the chances they’ll select Hexagon ALI as a trusted software provider.
- Responsible for prospecting in the assigned territory to identify opportunities based on identified challenges and solution value.
- Articulating the Hexagon ALI solution value proposition and communicating the competitive advantages, resources and processes to client and prospects.
- Responsible for coordinating closely with Hexagon counterparts in consulting, inside sales, pre-sales, and supporting teams to maximize revenue capture from customers and prospects in the assigned territory.
- Maintaining a high level of customer engagements (calls, visits and email) to assure contact with assigned clients and acting as the main interface between the client to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times.
- In relation to specific customer opportunities undertake a variety of creative strategies, including but not limited to, quantify outcomes and benefits, interface with our product and technical sales teams to ensure best possible solution positioning, assess potential partners, perform competitive research, and develop business cases.
- Manage/coordinate solution demonstrations and coordinating the preparation of Sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans.
- During presentations and demonstrations, the Account Executive is supported by Pre-sales.
- Together with Marketing, coordinate, conduct and participate in Sales promotions, campaigns, events and displays.
- Form long term business partnerships in order to generate recurring revenue from the relationship.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Utilities & Telecoms market. The terms GIS and NIS is very familiar to you.
- Diligently uses the corporate sales CRM system SalesForce. Monitors the execution of the annual maintenance contracts, services orders & software orders.
- Ability to discuss product capabilities and explain the business value of solution
- Meeting assigned quotas
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong external communicator.
- Bachelor/master degree, preferably in a technical or business field.
- Solid and longterm software sales experience required, preferably in a CAD/GIS/NIS or Information Management field towards the Utilities & Telecoms markets.
- Excellent level of English is required, Danish language skills are a plus.
