Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer– Wickham | £40k-£45k

Hexwired has partnered with a company who are a leading computing solutions provider. They are looking for a Quality Engineer who will be reporting to the Quality Manager. Although you will be working in a team you should be able to work under your own steam.

Key skills required for this role:

• Over 3 years’ experience working as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
• Conduct inspection of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products against engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to address quality-related matters, including complaints, non-conformances, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), and change control processes.
• Proficient in using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and other measuring equipment.
• Involved in process improvement initiatives, including the use of Value Stream Mapping to optimize workflow and efficiency.

The salary for this Quality Engineer role will be up to £40,000-£45,000 per annum. The company are rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.
