The role

As a Project Manager at Heywood, you will lead internal and external development and implementation projects from initiation to competition, ensuring they meet or exceed key stakeholders’ expectations.

Your key focus will be to ensure that all projects are managed in line with Heywood’s framework to deliver to agreed quality, scope, time, budget and commercial terms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • apply project lifecycle, method, processes, and procedures
  • manage and coordinate all resources allocated to projects
  • identify and quantify project risks and mitigating actions
  • produce and maintain project status reports, plans and logs
  • ensure the completion and sign-off of post project retrospectives
  • collaborate with our Customer Relationship Manager team to ensure timely, accurate and coordinated communication with customers and key stakeholders
  • encourage knowledge transfer and develop project management capability across the business
  • maintain clear and open communication to align expectations and ensure teams are working towards a common goal
  • track and manage project and programme budgets
  • provide guidance and mentor other project managers in the team
  • implement new ways of working and share them with the team.
