Recruitment Consultant
This nationwide training, qualifications and recruitment organisation is 350 people strong and has been running for 15 years. The organisation is entrepreneurial, passionate, commercial, and at the same time, they have a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility.
The recruitment arm of the business is expanding, and they are seeking to hire a Marketing and Tech professional.
The Recruitment Consultant Role
- 360 Recruitment Consultant hiring marketing, digital and tech professionals for a range of private and public sector clients.
- The company already run adult education training in the digital space, providing qualification services and training for junior people wanting to enter the market.
- The recruitment team hire professionals into many organisations across the London and Home Counties but also further afield in the UK. ( you can recruit into a very large geography)
- You will use contacts internally on the candidate and client side to secure leads from other parts of the business and cross sell as often as possible.
- You will be focusing on the perm and contract market in the UK
- You will be carrying out business development activities to pick up new clients for the recruitment business and will be cross trained to sell other service lines to clients who may be more interested in other services, you will then stay in touch with these clients as an account manager and you will transition them to hiring people via yourself once you have earnt their trust over time.
- You will be doing business development via cold calling and other avenues
The Selling Points
- This role involves a significant amount of remote work. You will work in the office 2 days a week on a Tuesday and Thursday. Friday you will finish early. The office is available for anyone wanting to be office based on more days.

You will be working with the existing IT recruitment business as well as the training and qualification teams and bootcamp teams to ensure that you are maximizing the large scale opportunity that this has the potential to be

- You will receive commission for any bootcamp hires (junior entry level) you help with and also for standard 360 hiring.
- You will be earning up to £36k as a basic salary and a strong commission package.
- Ideally, you will be motivated to progress longer term to management.
The Requirements
- You will ideally have professional recruitment experience (HR, marketing, digital, legal, IT, finance etc) in a 360 position of at least 2 years.
- You will not have a background in Talent Acquisition or internal recruitment. They need someone with proven sales and BD experience.
- You will have a strong track record for billings and the acquisition of new clients
- You will have a strong desire to work for a large company, with good processes, structured ways of working, internal policies and procedures, a strong code of ethics and social responsibility
Important things to note
It is important that you are able to pass a safer recruitment process. This will involve pre-employment checks, references, a CRB and DBS check. This is an Ofsted regulated organisation. The time from your offer to start date is likely to be a 3 weeks but can be quicker.
