Role Overview
The Vendor Marketing Specialist supports the planning and execution of vendor-led marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing Manager, sales teams, vendors, and partners.
The role focuses on campaign execution, demand generation, digital marketing, and event coordination to support pipeline growth and partner engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor & Partner Marketing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners, understanding their business goals, target audiences, and marketing priorities.
- Develop and execute joint marketing plans and co-funded campaigns aligned with vendor objectives and Hiperdist’s commercial goals.
- Coordinate vendor marketing initiatives across multiple regions and partner ecosystems.
- Support the management of vendor marketing agreements, MDF usage, and co-investment initiatives.
Demand Generation & Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute integrated demand generation campaigns across digital, partner, and event channels.
- Deliver multi-channel campaigns including: email marketing, LinkedIn campaigns, webinars, landing pages, partner promotions
- Generate qualified leads and support sales pipeline development through targeted marketing initiatives.
- Ensure smooth lead tracking and handover to sales teams through CRM systems.
Content & Marketing Collateral
- Create and coordinate co-branded marketing content including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, infographics, videos, and social media assets.
- Develop vendor-specific marketing materials with clear value propositions and consistent branding.
- Work closely with design and content teams to ensure high-quality creative output.
Digital Marketing, Website & SEO
- Manage and update marketing pages and campaign landing pages using WordPress.
- Support digital marketing initiatives aligned with the company’s broader growth strategy.
- Apply SEO best practices including:
- Keyword optimisation
- Metadata and on-page SEO
- Content structuring for organic visibility.
- Ensure campaigns are digitally optimised and measurable.
Event Marketing & Logistics
- Plan and execute vendor-led events, including webinars, partner workshops, training sessions, trade shows, and conferences.
- Manage event logistics including registrations, speaker coordination, promotional campaigns, and post-event follow-ups.
- Ensure events generate strong engagement and qualified leads.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track campaign performance using analytics and CRM reporting tools.
- Monitor KPIs such as leads generated, marketing qualified leads (MQLs), pipeline contribution, campaign ROI
- Prepare marketing performance reports and insights for internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Continuously optimise campaigns based on performance data.
Budget & MDF Management
- Support the management of the vendor marketing budget, ensuring effective use of marketing development funds (MDF).
- Track campaign spend and ROI to ensure marketing investments generate measurable impact.
- Maintain transparency and compliance with approved vendor marketing budgets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, product, marketing, finance, and external partners to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Support vendor enablement initiatives including marketing workshops, partner communications, and campaign training.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders to improve campaign performance and partner engagement.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, marketing processes, and vendor engagement.
- Contribute ideas that enhance Hiperdist’s marketing impact and partner ecosystem.
Experience & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, preferably B2B, technology, or channel marketing.
- Hands-on experience supporting marketing campaigns, events, or digital marketing activities.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, marketing platforms, or analytics tools.
- Basic experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Within the first 6–12 months, the Vendor Marketing Specialist will:
- Successfully plan and execute vendor-led campaigns that generate qualified leads and contribute to the sales pipeline.
- Build strong working relationships with vendors, partners, and internal teams.
- Demonstrate strong ownership of campaigns from planning through execution to performance reporting.
- Improve campaign effectiveness through data-driven optimisation and creative marketing ideas.
- Ensure marketing investments and MDF budgets are used effectively to maximise ROI.
- Contribute to a strong vendor marketing ecosystem that supports Hiperdist’s growth and partner engagement.
