Licensing Executive

Our client is a boutique commercial licensing firm working with high-value technology assets and global businesses. Operating at the intersection of business, technology, and legal strategy, the team specialises in transforming innovation into commercial outcomes through structured licensing programmes, strategic negotiations, and enforcement activity.

They are now seeking a Junior Licensing Officer to join the team — an outstanding opportunity for a bright early-career professional who wants genuine deal exposure and meaningful responsibility from day one.

This is not a back-office role. You will be directly involved in live commercial discussions and strategic projects early in your tenure.

  • Engaging companies to introduce licensing programmes and progress conversations toward executed agreements

  • Managing written and verbal communications with multiple counterparties simultaneously
  • Supporting negotiations and assisting in the execution of licence agreements
  • Assisting with enforcement and dispute-related activities across multiple jurisdictions
  • Contributing to broader business development initiatives and commercial strategy

This role is well suited to a commercially minded individual who enjoys analytical thinking, fast-paced learning, and engaging directly with external stakeholders.

Our client is looking for someone who:

  • Is educated to degree level.
  • Has over a years’ experience in a commercial, technical, legal, consulting, IP, or sales-adjacent role
  • Demonstrates excellent written and spoken English
  • Possesses strong analytical skills, organisation, and attention to detail
