Full Stack Web Developer (JQuery, PHP, MySQL)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer role based in London (NW7). The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, ensuring high performance and scalability. Day-to-day responsibilities include coding, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features. The role also involves optimising the user experience and ensuring seamless interaction between the front end and back end of the software.

• Contributing to the software core code.
• Building modules and plugins for the software, including plugins specific to customers.
• Designing and changing web pages
• Understand, advise and troubleshoot our customers’ issues. We have hundreds of users all over the world, in many different sectors, with that number growing rapidly, however every single one is unique in their own way.
• Proactively identifying ways of improving the software or by creating customer specific plugins, including working with customers and our support staff to see what they want and need.

Other Duties

• Work with other departments and management to understand the needs of our customers and deliver high impact features and improvements
• Develop and maintain highly performant code
• Keeping technical documentation up to date
• Keeping up to date with new technologies and advancements
• Take a hands-on approach to all areas of the role

Qualifications required:

• Highly proficient in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP and MySQL
• Have a good understanding of web technologies
• Take a logical and organised approach to problem-solving, asking appropriate questions to facilitate the collection of information required
• Organised, able to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and deliver on many things at once
• Team-player who is able to work unsupervised
• Fluent in English
• Strong knowledge of the latest developments in the Javascript language and community
• Must have the right to live and work in the UK
