We’re working with a forward‐thinking organisation undergoing a major digital and infrastructure transformation and they’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Technician to play a pivotal role in driving stability, security, and innovation across their technology estate.

You’ll become the organisation’s go to technical expert, shaping modern cloud and on prem solutions while ensuring systems remain resilient, secure, and future ready.

🔧 Your Key Responsibilities

You’ll be at the forefront of infrastructure service excellence, including:

Infrastructure & Cloud Ownership

  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure and on‐prem infrastructure
  • Leading incident response, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering full RCA
  • Supporting technology upgrades and major transformation initiatives

Security & Network Leadership

  • Managing VPNs, firewalls, endpoint security, and wider security tooling
  • Maintaining governance, compliance, and operational standards
  • Ensuring business continuity through strong DR, backups, and patching controls

Operational Excellence

  • Keeping documentation and configuration records accurate and maintained
  • Working cross functionally to optimise system performance and efficiency
  • Mentoring junior team members and sharing your technical expertise

🎯 What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years’ experience in Infrastructure Support or Systems Administration
  • Strong hands on experience across Azure, including IAM, governance, and security
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and operational efficiency
  • Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Experience with virtualisation platforms (e.g., Hyper‐V)
  • Strong networking fundamentals routing, switching, DNS, DHCP
  • Excellent communication, problem‐solving skills, and documentation discipline

🎓 Desirable Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • ITIL Foundation / Practitioner
