Salary: £50,000-£70,000 base (£100,000+ OTE) + benefits Location: London, UK (hybrid)Employment: Full Time, Permanent
A unique opportunity has arisen to join a growing IT solutions business, helping drive new business across multiple verticals, including hospitality, not-for-profit, professional services, and financial services. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to closing the deal, before handing the client over to the account management team.
The Role As a Business Development Manager, you will proactively identify, engage, and close new clients, developing strong business relationships and delivering tailored proposals. You will collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to maximise opportunities, support marketing campaigns, and ensure accurate pipeline management in the CRM.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities across mid-market sectors
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure before handing accounts to account management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consultative engagement
- Develop a deep understanding of target markets, solutions, and industry trends
- Collaborate with Marketing, Pre-Sales, and vendor partners to drive lead generation campaigns
- Prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, and quotes to secure new business
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales forecasting data
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue, margin, and bookings targets
