Account Manager

Account Manager | London | Hybrid (3–4 days in office)

£50k - £55k base + bonus + equity

We’re partnering with a high-growth marketplace startup hiring an Account Manager to join their commercial team. They are using AI and marketplace technology to modernise a traditional global industry, making international buying and selling more efficient and accessible.

This is a commercially focused Account Management role with real ownership and progression potential. You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of marketplace customers, driving retention, repeat spend and long-term customer value while working closely with operations, product and supply teams.

The role would suit someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building strong relationships with SMB customers and takes a proactive, commercial approach to account management.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing and growing a portfolio of customer accounts

• Driving customer retention and wallet share growth

• Building strong relationships across multiple channels

• Re-engaging inactive customers and improving account health

• Working cross-functionally to improve customer experience

• Using AI tools and automation to improve scalability and efficiency

• Contributing to process improvement as the business scales

Ideal background:

• 2+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, Partnerships or Sales

• Experience within a startup or scale-up environment preferred

• Commercially driven and proactive mindset

• Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving processes

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Interest in AI, automation and operational efficiency

• Experience working with SMB customers or high-growth businesses
