Global Event Marketing Consultant
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Existing Event Plan:
- Deliver on the global event calendar that includes flagship shows like MWC and partner/customer engagements.
- Plan and deliver internal Sales Conference (attendee management, registration and travel process, internal communications, activities, F&B, AV)
- Ensure all deliverables, timelines, and milestones are met.
- Logistics Management:
- Coordinate booth build-outs, demos, shipping, branding, and staffing in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Oversee and coordinate the meeting scheduler for our flagship event, ensuring seamless participant engagement and scheduling efficiency.
- Manage event registration, travel, accommodations, and on-site support for executives and sales teams.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Act as the operational lead, liaising with marketing, sales, product teams, and external agencies.
- Ensure content, collateral, demos, and briefing documents are delivered on time.
- Vendor & Budget Oversight:
- Manage vendor contracts and ensure cost control within approved budgets.
- Track expenses, submit reports, and optimize costs without compromising impact.
- On-Site/Event Execution:
- Be present (virtually or physically, as required) for major events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Handle last-minute issues and ensure brand integrity throughout the event experience.
- Reporting & Follow-up:
- Track event metrics (attendance, leads, meetings, engagement).
- Collaborate with digital and sales teams for timely lead follow-up and ROI report
What You Bring:
- 10+ years in B2B event marketing, ideally with experience in telecom, cloud, or enterprise tech.
- Experience with Jifflenow meeting booking and Stova registration a strong plus.
- Proven ability to manage large global events from logistics to post-event reporting.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to hit the ground running.
- Experience working with international vendors, venues, and cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of telecom industry event formats and players is a plus (GSMA, TM Forum, etc.).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ownership contract role.
- Available to travel if needed (up to 20%).
