Lead Business Architect
The skills and experience you’ll have Minimum • Experienced business architect either in professional services, financial services, or the public sector / regulated environment. • Experience in conducting market, customer and value assessments and using insights to shape business architecture in support of business strategies. • Experience of designing target operating models for large/medium organisations and leading business areas through the development and execution of their strategy through business architecture. • Provide oversight and guidance of work of associates business architects. • Exceptional communication skills, able and willing to describe and negotiate complex and detailed solutions with a variety of stakeholders. • A proactive and creative thinker, whilst grounded in the use of analysis tools and frameworks to solve problems and innovate. Able to work with imperfect information in an environment of uncertainty whilst still maintaining high standards, producing outputs that consider regulatory and organisational change requirements, whilst aligning to FCA divisional and enterprise strategies.
Essential • Expertise in architectural frameworks and concepts, methodologies and approaches i.e. capability maps, value chain analysis, value creation and business models and experience in the use of enterprise architecture tooling. • Good facilitator, drawing out problems, active listening skills, involving and gaining commitment from the relevant stakeholders in the business with credibility and gravitas to establish trust, gaining consensus and buy-in, orchestrating engagement and collaboration with senior leadership. • Open, curious, collaborative, can-do attitude. • Experience with formal Architecture methodologies (e.g. TOAGF, BizBoK)
