Master Data Management Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering activities with business stakeholders across F&B functions (e.g., procurement, menu management, supply chain, operations)
  • Define and manage scope, ensuring alignment with project objectives and business priorities
  • Conduct detailed business and process analysis, identifying current-state challenges and defining future-state processes
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured functional and data requirements
  • Support the design and implementation of MDM solutions, including data domains such as products, suppliers, recipes, and locations
  • Collaborate with data, technical, and integration teams to ensure requirements are feasible and correctly implemented
  • Develop process maps, data flows, and business documentation (BRDs, user stories, etc.)
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and playback sessions
  • Support data governance initiatives, including data standards, definitions, and quality rules
  • Assist in testing activities (UAT planning, execution, defect management)
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through delivery lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and data-focused projects
  • Proven experience working within the Food & Beverage (F&B) or hospitality domain
  • Solid understanding of business analysis frameworks, tools, and methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
  • Experience in requirements management, scope control, and stakeholder management
  • Strong business process modelling skills (e.g., BPMN, process mapping)
  • Experience working with data structures, data models, and data flows
  • Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with F&B systems such as POS (e.g., Micros/Simphony), inventory, or supply chain platforms
  • Exposure to data governance frameworks and data quality tools
  • Familiarity with integration concepts (APIs, ETL, data pipelines)
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar
