Full Stack Engineer (London Area)

We’re partnering with a mission-driven HealthTech company to find a talented Full-Stack Engineer. We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer who will work across our internal tools and data platforms, with a strong focus on implementing robust security practices and scalable architectures while collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

In this role, you will develop and maintain multiple internal applications and data platforms, working with both frontend and backend technologies. Your commitment to best practices will be essential as you build secure, responsive user interfaces, implement RESTful APIs following industry standards, optimize database queries for performance, and ensure our solutions are highly scalable and maintainable.

You'll tackle diverse technical challenges across our technology stack, emphasizing security-first development and systematic approaches to scaling. From crafting intuitive user experiences to designing efficient data processing pipelines, this role requires meticulous attention to established processes and standards. You'll focus on writing clean, maintainable code while implementing robust security measures and following our comprehensive development guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement features across our full stack using TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL
  • Build scalable and secure solutions using Azure Web Apps & Functions or AWS
  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and team standards
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
  • Implement robust testing strategies and maintain high code quality
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Delivery teams to understand and deliver business

  • Contribute to team culture through knowledge sharing and mentoring
  • Help maintain compliance with ISO27001 and ISO13485 requirements
  • Participate in technical discussions and architecture planning

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience with cloud services and implementing Software as a Service solutions, particularly with Azure
  • Proven expertise in TypeScript (NestJS), Python, and relational database development
  • Experience of Azure Web Apps and Azure Functions
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle processes and best practices
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control
  • Experience utilising monitoring and logging tools for diagnostics and debugging
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Understanding of security best practices in web development
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing as a developer
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology and regulatory requirements (ISO13485, ISO27001)
