Data Protection Administrator

The Role:

We're looking for a detail-oriented Data Protection Administrator to join our small but effective GDPR team at Holland & Barrett. This is a good opportunity to help shape how we manage data protection across the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands. You'll be at the heart of our privacy operations, supporting the business as it grows internationally and helping us stay ahead of evolving regulations. What You'll Be Doing

• Managing our Privacy Portal (OneTrust) and GDPR inbox - processing requests like erasures, access, and rectification.
• Handling data subject access requests (DSARs) from start to finish - including discovery, redaction, and disclosure.
• Supporting CCTV footage requests, ensuring secure and compliant handling.
• Investigating GDPR-related complaints from customers and employees.
• Keeping our privacy logs up to date and helping prepare materials for internal presentations.
• Working closely with our Legal, HR, and Customer Services teams to ensure we stay compliant and responsive.

This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to other locations of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office

The Person:

What We're Looking For

• Someone with a genuine interest in data protection and a willingness to learn - no need to be an expert yet.
• Strong organisational skills - you'll need to manage your time well in a small team with big responsibilities.
• A confident communicator who's comfortable working with different departments.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - experience with tools like OneTrust, Zendesk, or Secure Redact is a bonus (but we'll train you).
• Ideally, some experience in retail or customer service, to help you understand the context of the work.
