This is a great job opportunity for a Housing Manager to join Home Groups awesome housing team in the Central Region covering the North Herts, Northstowe & Fenland and surrounding areas.

\n

What you ll do

\n

    \n
  • \n You will represent Home Group within our communities and being present on our estates undertaking Housing Manager tasks such as: Patch Inspections, Anti-social behaviour management, statutory compliance visits, rent arrears visits and viewings/sign-ups for new customers.
  • \n

  • \n You ll progress legal paperwork such as Notices of Seeking Possession and prepare witness statements for anti-social behaviour cases at court.
  • \n

  • \n Represent Home Group at Court on cases on your patch

You have

\n

  • \n You llunderstandhousing management, housing law and customer service.
  • \n

  • \n You are fully competent in IT and can learn new systems quickly.
  • \n

  • \n You re super organised and methodical in your approach and are a proactive self-starter with a can do? positive attitude.
  • \n

  • \n Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have a genuine desire to help your customers.?
  • \n

  • \n This job can challenge, especially when we re dealing with complaints, but your resilience will help you through.
  • \n

  • \n Confident working with external partners and stakeholders such as local authorities.

The practical bits

  • \n Hybrid working which involves working from home, in the community or your nearest local office.
  • \n

  • \n You'll manage your own diary and be accountable for achieving KPI s.
  • \n

  • \n You will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle insured for business purposes. Don t worry, we ll pay your business mileage to cover this use!
  • \n

  • \n You ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
  • \n

  • \n Although we work as a mobile team, we meet regularly on-site but also monthly for team meetings at our Bishop s Stortford office
