We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead strategy, delivery, and scaling of three core Data & AI foundation products within bp’s Supply, Trading & Shipping (ST&S) organisation:

· Unstructured Data Service

· Variable Latency Streaming

· Core AI Components

These capabilities underpin next‐generation AI, analytics, and business intelligence across ST&S. The role requires a blend of product strategy, technical depth, and strong stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with engineering, data science, architecture, and business teams to deliver scalable, enterprise‐grade data and AI products.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop deep insight into user pain points, workflows, and user journeys across Trading Front Office teams.

· Translate business needs into strategic product roadmaps with clear prioritisation.

· Articulate commercial value and ensure product decisions drive measurable business impact.

· Balance competing priorities across customer needs, enterprise strategy, and technical feasibility.

· Use data‐driven insights and performance metrics to evaluate product success.

· Establish strong user feedback loops to ensure product decisions reflect real customer needs.

· Partner with delivery teams to ensure intuitive, high‐quality product experiences.

Technology Delivery

· Collaborate with engineering teams to define scalable, reusable architectures for ingestion, streaming, AI models, metadata, lexicons, and security services.

· Use iterative experiments, prototypes, and pilot deployments to validate hypotheses before scaling.

· Identify opportunities to reuse platform components and accelerate enterprise AI development.

· Support delivery teams in shaping technical decisions and ensuring alignment with product strategy.

Be Agile

· Shape ways of working across cross‐functional teams to improve delivery flow, communication, and shared accountability.

· Influence a broad stakeholder landscape, including senior executives, technology leaders, and use‐case delivery teams.

· Navigate organisational constraints to remove impediments and accelerate time‐to‐value.

Product Domains You Will Own

· Unstructured Data Service – Roadmap ownership for ingesting, extracting, cataloguing, and curating unstructured data (email, chat, documents, third‐party content).

· Variable Latency Streaming – Deliver capabilities for near‐real‐time data publishing from ETRM systems, enabling decoupled consumption.

· Core AI Components – Oversee foundational AI capabilities that support enterprise‐grade AI applications.
