Business Development Manager

  • Hybrid role - office in Whiteley, Hampshire (near Solent Hotel)
  • 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Up to 35 days per year PLUS additional leave for late starts, early finishes, long lunches, appointments
  • £35,000 per year PLUS uncapped commission (£70k OTE)

We specialise in hosted telephony (including 3CX, Wave and Zoom), connectivity, mobile solutions, and cyber security services. We work with companies such as 23.5 Degrees, Starbucks' largest UK franchised business partner.

As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a driven Telesales & Field Sales Executive to join our team.

Role Overview

As a Telesales & Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and developing new business opportunities across the UK SME sector, focusing on companies with 20 to 100 employees. This is a hybrid role combining time at our Whiteley office with home working. You will be selling a broad portfolio including 3CX hosted telephony, connectivity (broadband, leased lines, etc.), mobile services, and security solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with strong B2B sales experience in telecoms, IT, or managed services, who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and delivering exceptional customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new SME clients within the 20–100 employee segment.
  • Sell Hosted's portfolio of 3CX hosted telephony solutions, connectivity services (FTTP, leased lines, broadband), business mobile solutions, cyber security and related managed services.
  • Deliver tailored proposals and presentations to meet client needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing.
  • Build long-term relationships to support upselling, cross-selling, and account growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasts.
  • Collaborate with technical and provisioning teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor offerings.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven track record of B2B solution sales within telecoms, IT, or technology services.
  • Strong understanding of hosted telephony/VoIP solutions—3CX experience highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of connectivity services and business mobile products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially minded.

Preferred

  • Experience selling into the UK SME market.
  • Understanding of cyber security products and managed services.
