Role Overview:This role is ideal for graduates or junior professionals looking to gain real-world exposure in financial analytics. You will work alongside experienced analysts and finance professionals to deliver insights that influence critical business outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Collect and validate financial data from internal systems and external datasets.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to spot patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Develop and update dashboards and reporting tools to support finance teams.
- Translate raw data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Support ongoing projects around forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Continually improve your technical and financial knowledge with support from senior staff.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.
- Strong interest in data and financial analysis.
- Confidence working with Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or Power BI is a plus.
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and performance metrics.
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- £25,000 – £30,000 per annum, based on experience and skill level.
- Hybrid working model with a centrally located office in Glasgow (G1 3SL).
