LMS Configurator

Here at Howdens, we are looking for a Learning Management System (LMS) Configurator to join our fantastic L&D Team. This would be an excellent step for somebody with solid Cornerstone experience who is looking for a new challenge within a thriving and leading FTSE100 business.

The role will be based in Raunds, Northamptonshire which is easily commutable from Kettering, Wellingborough, Corby, Bedford and Huntingdon.                    

What will I be doing as a LMS Configurator?

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of Cornerstone, including system configuration, resolving technical support issues, and ensuring platform stability
  • Administering the “Academy”; completing regular activities including creating events and sessions, submitting rosters, uploading certificates, and managing the catalogue, systems guides, vendors and trainers.
  • Configuring the “Academy” by creating groups, submitting learning assignments, building reports and dashboards, creating evaluations and setting emails.
  • Supporting users and finding solutions for technical issues.  
  • Managing, mentoring and supporting a junior member of staff within the LMS team,

What we need from you?

  • Previous experience within an LMS Administrator or LMS Configuration position
  • Deep technical knowledge of the Cornerstone Learning System
  • Technically minded, with an interest in learning, systems and design work.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales.
  • The confidence to deliver commitments, whilst using initiative.
  • Ability to motivate and delegate

It would be desirable if you also had:

  • Experience of Workday
  • An understanding of how HR systems data links to learning management systems
  • People management experience
