Business Analyst
About the Role
A permanent, full-time opportunity has arisen for someone who enjoys working at the crossover of pensions administration and system development. This role focuses on translating business needs into practical system solutions and ensuring improvements are delivered accurately and effectively. It’s well suited to someone analytical, collaborative, and confident navigating both operational and technical environments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with pensions colleagues to understand operational requirements and convert them into clear system specifications
- Work alongside system developers to assess technical options and agree the most suitable solutions
- Design and coordinate testing plans — including functional, user acceptance and regression testing — to ensure all changes perform correctly
- Develop a strong understanding of system capabilities, including calculations, workflows, interfaces, reporting outputs and member communications
- Support change governance by helping prioritise updates, allocate resources and track progress for ongoing system improvements
- Play a key part in major projects by leading analysis and system-focused workstreams, ensuring deliverables align with project objectives
