Technician Rework

We are a Contract Electronics Manufacturer (CEM) with over 40 years of experience, headquartered in Berkshire. Specialising in high-quality PCBs, PCBAs, box builds, and final assemblies, we operate from multiple UK sites and are known for building strong, long-term customer partnerships.

Reporting to the department Supervisor, you will be required to support production with SMT rework, modifications, hand builds and any other repairs. This includes using rework equipment, X-ray and inspection equipment, and soldering irons for fine-pitched components.Our rework requirements range from SMT rework to complex BGA replacement & track repairs. We will match you with the rate/department that best suits your rework proficiency.Occasionally, as a Technician, you may be required to work in other areas, soldering or assembling production units as needed.

• Competent soldering skills – down to 0201 surface mount component size
• Proven experience in SMT rework
• Proven experience in conventional Through Hole rework
• Read and interpret Drawings, Diagrams and Bills of Materials
• Maintain high housekeeping standards
• BGA rework, Track repairs, & Modifications will be a distinct advantage.
