Digital Systems Support Officer
Job summary
A vacancy has arisen for a Systems Support Officer within the HDigital Support and Implementation Service.
The Trust's HDigital Department is responsible for the implementation, development and ongoing management and delivery of the Trust's IM&T Strategy, which aims to transform the organisation towards a 'digitised' environment with the aim to remove the use of paper where possible
This will require the continued support and implementation of a number of new and continually upgraded systems and applications, including the Lorenzo EPR system. The Trust is also currently upgrading its infrastructure to provide enhanced communications technology with a range of mobile devices to ensure the systems that are implemented can be easily and quickly accessed at the patient's bedside and or where-ever the patient is seen. These systems will be used to collect and provide both clinical treatment data and administrative information to benefit the care of our patients.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team to help the Trust develop our current and new systems whilst supporting Trust users in their everyday use of the systems. Experience of current hospital systems predominantly Lorenzo and or providing system support would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
You should possess excellent organisational and communication skills and be capable of working under your own initiative on identified user queries and possess very good interpersonal skills.
You will work as part of the HDigital Support and Implementation team, and will therefore need to demonstrate the ability to work within a team with shared goals, and be able to meet strict deadlines.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
