M&A VP
Human Capital Partners are working with a Corporate Finance Advisory firm to appoint their M&A VP, focussed on Technology, Media, and Marketing transactions.
This role offers uncapped bonus potential.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on challenge, is confident engaging with senior stakeholders, and wants to play a visible role across origination, execution, and relationship-building. You’ll work directly with senior team members and clients from day one – with a steep growth curve and real responsibility.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting and helping lead sell-side M&A processes end to end – from pitch and preparation to close
- Preparing high-impact materials: teasers, IMs, buyer packs, pitch decks
- Engaging directly with founders, C-suite execs, investors, and buyers
- Leading workstreams on valuation, financial analysis, and buyer/target mapping
- Playing a key role in origination and BD – managing outreach, tracking opportunities, and contributing to pipeline growth
- Building and maintaining senior relationships across founders, corporates, and PE
- Helping us track sector trends and shape our insight-led approach
What we are looking for:
- 4-5 years of M&A experience
- Strong sell-side exposure and familiarity with PE and strategic transactions
- Commercially sharp, articulate, and curious
- Emotionally intelligent, a strong communicator, and comfortable dealing with people at all levels
- Proactive in building relationships and confident in engaging senior stakeholders
- Independent, organised and comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- A genuine interest in the creative, media, or digital marketing space
