Our client is seeking a Platform Engineer to help design, build and maintain the infrastructure that supports high-performance engineering and data workloads. This role focuses on creating reliable, scalable environments that allow engineering teams to experiment, develop and process large volumes of data efficiently.

Working closely with engineers and technical specialists, you will help shape the platform that powers compute-intensive workflows and internal development environments.

About You

You are an engineer who enjoys working close to the platform layer, building reliable systems that other teams depend on.

You may have experience with:

  • Kubernetes cluster deployment and management
  • Linux systems administration
  • Container technologies such as Docker
  • Distributed systems and networking concepts
  • Managing infrastructure for compute-intensive workloads
  • Infrastructure-as-code or automation tooling
  • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and platform issues

Additional experience that could be useful includes:

  • Python scripting or automation
  • CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Supporting data processing or research-driven engineering environments
