The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable software solutions across a modern cloud-based platform.
You'll work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver new features, improve existing services, and contribute to architectural decisions that will influence the future direction of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Go
- Build and maintain APIs and distributed systems
- Develop high-quality applications using TypeScript and JavaScript
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices
- Mentor and support other engineers within the team
- Help improve platform performance, security, and reliability
What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang)
- Solid TypeScript and JavaScript development experience
- Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs
- Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering principles
- Experience working within cloud environments
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to take ownership of technical challenges and deliver solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience within FinTech, Payments, SaaS, or regulated environments
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Containerisation experience (Docker/Kubernetes)
