Data Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst.
This Data Analyst Support role is integral to the Maintenance business team, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role is responsible for providing cross-functional support and participating in analytical processes. Additionally, the role encompasses administrative duties to ensure seamless operations within the team.
Responsibilities
* Provide cross-functional support and contribute to analytical processes by sharing expertise and fostering a forward-thinking approach.
* Create and manage Power BI metrics to enhance the effectiveness of Routine Maintenance activities.
Data Analyst Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the maintenance business team to understand challenges and identify opportunities for digitisation and process efficiency improvements.
* Perform comprehensive data analysis, including data gathering, cleansing, validation, and quality control, to uncover trends and support data driven decision-making.
* Maintain automated reports and dashboards in Power BI to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including SAP.
* Take ownership of running regular reports, carry out ad-hoc data requests, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.
Other Responsibilities may include:
* Managing a variety of SAP related tasks to include but not limited to work order and notification housekeeping, raising and amending purchase requisitions.
* Managing internal systems for issuing ISO drawings and processing PHA action items.
* On an ad hoc basis provide assistance with managing technical documentation, formatting, tidying before uploading on to SharePoint or Livelink.
* Perform various SAP administration tasks including PPM changes, back log management and housekeeping.
Critical Skills (e.g. relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage confidently with colleagues at all levels in the business.
* Excellent organisational & multitasking abilities, Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Proficient in modify existing Power BI dashboards and generating ad hoc reports.
* Experience in data gathering, cleansing, validation, and reporting is essential
* Proficient in all Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of SAP is desirable
* Skilled in producing clear graphical representations and data visualisation using Power BI
* Knowledge of DAX coding is desirable
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

* Confident and professional in dealing with suppliers, vendors, peers, and managers.
