Title : Cloud Engineer

Client : Quant Fund – Global collaborative firm run by passionate Computer Scientists

Salary : Up to £80,000 + bonus + package/perks

Experience: 2-4 years

Location : London (Hybrid/Remote - 3/4 days onsite)

My client is looking for someone to join the team building a secure, scalable, and automated GCP cloud platform that powers the firm’s data and AI initiatives, supporting key functions such as Trading, Data Engineering, and Back-Office systems (A full and detailed job spec is available)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and expand our GCP platform, covering networking, IAM, and security, with a fully automated “everything as code” model using Terraform.
• Design and maintain a resilient GKE-based architecture while supporting core platforms such as Airflow, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, GitLab CI/CD, Coder, and observability systems.

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience -

✔️2-4 year commercial experience within a cloud infrastructure/engineering role

✔️Strong Python experience

✔️Solid GCP experience

✔️Experience/Interest with AI
