Job Title: Platform Engineer

My client is a top ranked, technology-driven trading firm that pushes tech to the limits! The firm is run by Computer Scientists and Olympiad winning mathematicians from the top global tech and financial firms. The role:

My client is looking for an experienced System Engineer to join their elite technical team, designing, supporting, and researching the firms low latency infrastructure. You will be given the chance to push tech to the limits, and collaborate with some of the greatest minds in the fintech space!

This position will have a strong impact on the strategic architecture of the firm, leading/delivering greenfield projects.

The right candidate will have the following:

• 8+ Years experience working with Linux/RHEL/Rocky/CentOS/OEL

• System Tuning for compute infrastructure

• Experience identifying low-level bottlenecks.

• Strong scripting/development ability in 1 or more languages e.g. python/Rust

• Knowledge of network fundamentals

• Full understanding of Network protocols

• Experience with Slurm
