Salary: £130k - £250k Base + Bonus (Up to Circa £500k Comp)
Location: London/Hybrid
Skills: Strong knowledge of distributed systems, a language agnostic programmer (this firm does a lot of Golang, Python and Rust), solid understanding of Kubernetes and SREprinciples
The role:
My client, an Elite Tech organisation are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with a solid understanding of Kubernetes/Orchestration to work in a technically outstanding ML team.
They are open to Engineers from any industry but experience working with distributed systems is a huge plus!
This team is made up of some of Europe's best Computing professionals all working in an elite team with a flat structure. You have a chance to make a huge difference and push tech to the limits, setting world records in the process.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a key decision maker in a brand new team looking to set world records for speed/reliability and scalability
- Be involved in architectural decisions
- Working in multiple programming languages (Go/Python/Rust etc.)
- Implement large scale Kubernetes infrastructure (both on premise and cloud based)
Required:
- Outstanding knowledge of multiple programming languages (language agnostic)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, high performance computing/scale etc.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes
Desired:
- Experience/interest in the ML space
- Experience in the trading space
