This firm is a dynamic and innovative fintech firm looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our close-knit team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving our corporate and information service websites. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a group of talented professionals, working in an environment that values creativity and independent thinking.

You’ll also work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and design, to bring product requirements to life.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a geographically distributed, cross-functional team to maintain and enhance the corporate and service websites.
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and stability.
  • Partner with UI/UX designers to turn mock-ups into fully functional, accessible, and responsive web applications with outstanding usability.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to create and refine test cases, including those focused on JavaScript functionality, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Engage with product owners to contribute to the development and refinement of user stories.
  • Contribute to achieving optimal performance and efficiency across our public-facing websites.
  • Assist in improving SEO to ensure consistent, high performance across multiple regions.
  • Develop and enhance the Content Management System to provide an intuitive and streamlined experience for distributed content authors.

About you:

Required Experience:

  • Understanding of request and response types
  • Minimum 2 years of JavaScript development
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with PHP
  • Experience and proficiency with content management systems, ideally WordPress
  • Related web technologies like Sass/Less, AJAX and JSON
  • Experience with git version control
