Salary: £38,000 basic + £10,000 Commission

About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in our AI-powered telematics and smart dashcam solutions. This is a high-impact role focused on winning new business and expanding relationships across fleet operators, insurers, haulage firms, and courier companies.

You’ll be selling cutting-edge technology that combines real-time vehicle data, AI video analytics, and risk reduction tools—helping clients improve safety, reduce costs, and gain operational visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and win new business across fleet, insurance, logistics, and courier sectors
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities through outbound activity, networking, and referrals
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations showcasing AI-driven telematics and video capabilities
• Understand client challenges (risk, compliance, claims, driver behaviour) and position tailored solutions
• Negotiate and close deals, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to refine messaging and solution fit
• Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes

What You’ll Be Selling

• AI-enabled dashcams with real-time event detection
• Telematics platforms for fleet tracking and performance insights
• Driver behaviour monitoring and risk scoring tools
• Integrated solutions for insurance claims validation and fraud reduction

Ideal Candidate

• Proven track record in B2B sales (telematics, SaaS, fleet solutions, or insurance technology preferred)
• Experience selling into fleet operators, insurers, or transport/logistics companies
• Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to articulate technical solutions in business terms
• Self-starter with high energy and resilience in a target-driven environment
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
