Global Network Engineer

Network Engineer - Global Enterprise Environment

A leading global company operating in over 100 countries is seeking a Network Engineer to support the operational health and troubleshooting of a large, multi-national corporate network.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage, analyse, and resolve network incidents (Cisco, Meraki, and others)
• End-to-end incident management, including escalation and stakeholder communication
• Act as Major Incident Manager (MIM) when needed
• Troubleshoot and configure network devices and services (DNS, DHCP, MX records, etc.)
• Interface with service providers and local site contacts
• Use NMS tools to diagnose and resolve performance and connectivity issues
• Perform packet captures and preliminary analysis
• Maintain CMDB and internal Knowledge Base
• Assist with implementation of network changes and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in enterprise-level network support and configuration
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and Meraki dashboard
• Experience with WLAN technologies (Cisco/Meraki)
• Familiarity with tools like Cisco NSO, ISE, DUO, VMware
• Proficient in network protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, NAT, DNS, DHCP, SDWAN, VLAN, etc.
• Comfortable with packet capture tools and NMS platforms (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, ServiceNow)
• CCNA or equivalent hands-on experience required
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Understanding of ITIL principles and service delivery best practices
