Marketing Manager- Retention (SaaS)- London/ Hybrid- 12 Months- £35,000-£40,000
A global SaaS business is looking for an experience Marketing Manager- Retention to join their team on an initial 12 month assignment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving customer retention, engagement, and growth on our platform through hyper-personalized, data and AI backed lifecycle campaigns across our EMEA Product journeys.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute end-to-end lifecycle marketing campaigns on our platform to drive conversion, activation, engagement, cross-sell, and retention.
- Define customer segments and lifecycle stages using behavioral and transactional data
- Own the creation and deployment of campaigns across channels (Email, IPD, SMS, etc.), aimed at driving activation and retention
- Use our in-house experimentation and campaign management platforms to continuously improve campaign performance and user experience.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and KPIs, drawing actionable insights to optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Map and continuously refine key lifecycle journeys for core customer segments in collaboration with Customer Success, Sales and Product teams.
- Identify friction points and opportunity areas to enhance customer satisfaction and LTV.
- Collaborate with creative, data, engineering, and product teams, drawing on our global expertise and leveraging them to drive personalized experiences at scale.
- Align lifecycle marketing efforts with broader go-to-market and brand campaigns, taking ownership of the full E2E experience
- Leverage marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloaqua, Marketo, Braze, Adobe Experience Platform) to build scalable programs for EMEA
Skills/ Experience:
- 5+ years in lifecycle, CRM, or email marketing with a focus on SaaS or digital products.
- Proven success in building and optimizing lifecycle programs that drive measurable growth.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Excellent project management skills; able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Experience with personalization, segmentation, and customer journey mapping.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Self-starter with a bias for action and a test-and-learn mindset.
- Understanding of growth marketing, retention metrics (e.g., churn, NPS, LTV), and behavioral triggers.
