Citrix Engineer

About the Role

A prestigious global bank is seeking a highly skilled Citrix Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join its dynamic infrastructure team in London. This is a permanent opportunity offering a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility while contributing to mission-critical enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of Citrix environments across the bank's global infrastructure.
• Act as the technical authority for Citrix technologies including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, and Citrix ADC (NetScaler).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing virtual desktop solutions.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Drive automation and optimization initiatives within the Citrix estate.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

  Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Citrix SME in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (on-prem and cloud)
    • Citrix Cloud and integration with Azure
    • Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
    • Citrix Workspace and Endpoint Management
    • Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
    • Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and automation tools.
    • Relevant Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA-V, CCP-V, CCE-V) highly desirable.
