Sales Director (Data)
Such a role does not come around very often as a cutting-edge Data / AI organisation are currently looking for their founding team member in the UK.
To be a success, a highly experienced Sales Director is required to lead and accelerate commercial growth in key enterprise and government segments.
You will craft and execute a strategic sales roadmap, build deep client partnerships, and expand footprint across the UK and wider EMEA region. This role combines strategic vision, operational leadership, and a track record of selling complex data and AI solutions at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive sales strategy aligned with corporate goals to achieve ambitious revenue and market share targets in the UK and EMEA.
- Lead full sales cycle execution: prospecting, qualifying, proposal development, negotiations, and closing of enterprise deals.
- Build and nurture C-Suite and senior stakeholder relationships within target accounts (enterprise, government, and strategic partners).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, delivery, and partner teams to define compelling offerings and go-to-market propositions.
- Coach, mentor and expand the sales team, shaping sales culture, career development, and performance excellence.
- Manage sales forecasting, pipeline reporting and CRM system integrity for executive insights.
- Driving consistent, predictable revenue growth from new and existing enterprise accounts.
- Establishing as a trusted partner for AI-ready data and sovereign AI solutions in the UK market.
- Scaling a high-performing sales organisation that collaborates effectively with product and delivery teams.
Skills / Experience Required:
- Minimum 10+ years of senior sales leadership experience, ideally within enterprise technology, data platforms, cloud, AI solutions, or digital transformation sectors.
- Proven track record selling complex technical solutions into large organisations, including public sector and regulated industries.
- Strong consultative selling and executive engagement skills.
- Experience building and leading high-performing sales teams.
