The Opportunity

Were looking for a Technical Account Manager to lead SEO and web development projects for our education clients. Youll blend technical expertise, strategic thinking, and project management to deliver outstanding digital performance while helping us grow through strong client relationships and retention.

What Youll Do

  • Lead and execute SEO and web development strategies tailored to universities, colleges, and online learning platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research, technical audits, and on-page optimisation, overseeing site builds and redesigns to enhance visibility and UX.
  • Manage full project lifecycles, coordinating designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Analyse performance data across SEO and web metrics, turning insights into actionable improvements.
  • Collaborate across creative, content, and dev teams to ensure integrated delivery and technical excellence.
  • Ensure QA, accessibility, and SEO best practices across all web projects.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Grow client partnerships identify new opportunities, pitch solutions, and support business development efforts.

What Youll Bring

  • Proven experience in SEO account management and web development project management (ideally in education or similar sectors).
  • Strong understanding of on-page, technical, and local SEO, plus hands-on familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms).
  • Skilled in tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and project management platforms.
  • Confident communicator able to translate technical detail into client value.
  • Commercial mindset with experience in client growth, new business, and project negotiation.
  • Excellent organisational skills, managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
