Launch Your IT Career with Hydrachem
Are you passionate about technology and looking for an opportunity to build a successful career in IT?
Hydrachem is seeking a motivated and ambitious IT Graduate to join our growing business as part of a structured 1-Year IT Development Programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate, or early-career IT professional to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of technology while working in a supportive and innovative environment.
Established in 1973, Hydrachem is one of the world's leading manufacturers of water purification solutions and disinfection tablets. Our products are trusted by government organisations, aid agencies, charities, and major retailers worldwide. As the business continues to grow, we are investing in technology, security, and digital transformation to support our future ambitions.
This role offers far more than traditional IT support. Over the programme, you will gain exposure to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, business systems, and automation technologies, helping you develop into a well-rounded IT professional.
About the role
Working closely with our Managed IT Service Provider and internal teams, you will support day-to-day IT operations while developing your knowledge across the business technology landscape. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and technologies, receive mentoring and professional development, and play a key role in helping Hydrachem build and strengthen its in-house IT capability.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, learning new skills, and providing excellent support to users.
What you'll be doing
During the programme, you will provide comprehensive IT support across the business, delivering first and second-line support while troubleshooting hardware, software, network, printer, and device-related issues. You will work closely with our Managed IT Support Provider to help maintain IT infrastructure, security, servers, cloud services, firewalls, and networking equipment. The role will also involve supporting employee onboarding and offboarding, creating and maintaining IT documentation, assisting with cybersecurity and compliance initiatives, and providing support for ERP systems and other business applications. In addition, you will contribute to digital transformation projects, identify opportunities to improve processes through technology, and play an active role in the development and growth of Hydrachem's future in-house IT function.
Your 1-Year Development Programme
This structured development programme will provide hands-on experience and ongoing learning across key IT disciplines, including IT support and service delivery, Microsoft 365 administration, SharePoint, networking, hardware and device management, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, ERP and business systems, Power Apps and process automation, user training, project delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives. As your skills and experience develop, you will take on increasing responsibility within the organisation's IT function, positioning you for progression into a permanent IT Specialist, Systems Administrator, Infrastructure, or Business Technology role within Hydrachem.
