Home-based with UK travel to client
A leading UK services organisation is seeking two Business Development Directors to originate, shape and close large, complex public sector opportunities valued at £25m+.
This is a strategic hunting role focused on complex, tech-enabled and transformation-led propositions across government.
You will own and drive significant revenue pipelines, working collaboratively with Bid Directors and solution teams to secure major public sector contracts.
- Owning and closing complex revenue pipelines within the public sector
- Originating and winning large-scale (£25m+) transformation opportunities
- Selling complex, tech-enabled and operational service solutions
- Leading opportunity qualification and pursuit planning activity
- Implementing structured sales methodologies across large bid cycles
- Working closely with Bid Directors to shape compelling win strategies
- Operating across propositions such as:
- Contact centres
- Citizen experience
- Customer transformation
- Case management & assessment services
- Specialist training and BPO solutions
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of winning £25m+ public sector deals
- Strong public sector sales background (central government experience highly desirable)
- Experience designing and selling complex, client-focused solutions
- Evidence of structured business development methodology
- Strong collaboration with bid and solution teams
- Strategic thinker, comfortable adapting propositions to client needs
- Credible, highly professional and confident engaging at senior government level
