Job Overview
We are seeking a customer-focused Finance Software Trainer to support users in adopting and getting the most from finance and ERP software solutions. The role involves delivering training sessions, guiding users through finance processes, and providing ongoing support to ensure successful system adoption. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of finance or accounting processes, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain software functionality clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training sessions to customers on finance software and system functionality
- Support users during onboarding, implementation, and post-go-live activities
- Guide customers through key finance processes including month-end, VAT, reporting, and reconciliations
- Prepare training materials, user guides, and documentation
- Provide front-line customer support and respond to user queries professionally
- Assist with system configuration and user setup where required
- Work closely with implementation, support, and customer success teams
- Maintain accurate training records and customer notes
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases and process improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Understanding of finance or accounting processes
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience in customer-facing support, training, or software environments
- Confident using MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, user-friendly way
- Experience with finance software, ERP systems, or SaaS platforms is desirable
Desirable Qualifications
- Accounting, finance, business, or IT-related qualification
- Experience delivering training, workshops, or user onboarding sessions
- Exposure to accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP platforms
